RTÉ Radio 1 is the principal radio channel of Irish public-service broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). The station is a rare modern example of a mixed radio network, broadcasting a mixture of music and speech programming. It is the most popular radio station in Ireland, with a weekly reach of 1.2 million listeners.

The station's output consists of news, current affairs, talk shows, entertainment, music and sport. It also broadcasts specialist programming in a wide variety of genres, including classical music, jazz, folk, country, blues, and rock.
