BBC Radio 4 is a British national radio station owned and operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). It broadcasts a wide variety of spoken-word programmes including news, drama, comedy, science and history. It is the second most popular domestic radio station in the United Kingdom, after BBC Radio 2, and the most popular in London and the South East of England.

BBC Radio 4 is noted for its news and current affairs programming. It broadcasts the long-running Today programme, the flagship news and current affairs programme, as well as the BBC World Service's flagship news programme, Newshour. It also broadcasts a wide range of drama, comedy, and factual programmes, including the popular soap opera The Archers, the long-running comedy panel show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, and the science fiction series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

BBC Radio 4 also broadcasts a range of specialist programmes, including the long-running arts magazine Front Row, the religious programme Sunday Worship, and the weekly political discussion show Any Questions?. It also broadcasts a range of music programmes, including the classical music show Composer of the Week and the folk music show The Folk Show.

BBC Radio 4 is available on FM, DAB digital radio, Freeview, Sky, Virgin Media, Freesat, and online. It is also available on the BBC iPlayer, the BBC's streaming service.
