أنشئت الإذاعة اللبنانية عام 1938 في عهد رئيس الجمهورية اللبنانية الراحل إميل إده وكان اسمها راديو الشرق ومركزها في مبنى السراي مركز رئاسة الحكومة سابقًا ووزارة الداخلية حاليًا. كان الأستاذ ألبير أديب أول مدير إذاعي للقسم العربي ومعه عيِّن الشاعر الكبير سعيد عقل مذيعًا باللغة العربية.
Radio Liban is a public radio station in Lebanon. It is owned and operated by the Lebanese government and broadcasts in Arabic. The station was established in 1934 and is one of the oldest radio stations in the Middle East. It broadcasts news, music, and cultural programming. It also broadcasts programs from other countries, including France, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Radio Liban is available on FM, AM, and online.
