KMHD is a public radio station located in Portland, Oregon. It is owned and operated by the Oregon Public Broadcasting network and broadcasts a jazz format. KMHD is the only full-time jazz station in the Pacific Northwest and one of the few in the United States. The station was founded in 1989 and has been broadcasting since then. KMHD is dedicated to providing its listeners with the best in jazz music, from classic to contemporary. The station also features interviews with jazz musicians, news, and other programming related to jazz. KMHD is committed to promoting jazz music and culture in the Portland area and beyond.
