Hong Kong Community Radio

Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR) is a non-profit, independent radio station based in Hong Kong. It was founded in 2011 with the mission to provide a platform for local and international music, art, and culture. HKCR is dedicated to promoting and supporting the creative and cultural diversity of Hong Kong.

HKCR broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and features a wide variety of music genres, including alternative, avant-garde, electronic, experimental, hiphop, indie, instrumental, techno, variety, and various. The station also broadcasts in both Cantonese and English, allowing for a diverse range of programming.

HKCR is committed to providing a platform for local and international artists to showcase their work, and to creating a space for dialogue and discussion about the issues that affect Hong Kong. The station also hosts a variety of events, including live music performances, workshops, and talks.

HKCR is a member of the International Association of Independent Radio Stations (IAIRS), and is supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
