Radio Ozodi (RFE/RL in Tajik, ch. 9) is a radio station based in Prague, Czechia. It is part of the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) network, and broadcasts news and information in the Tajik language. The station was established in 1994, and is aimed at audiences in Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and other Tajik-speaking countries. It broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and provides news, analysis, and commentary on current events in the region. It also features interviews with prominent figures, music, and cultural programming. The station is funded by the United States government, and is part of the Broadcasting Board of Governors.
