Houston Public Media - Classical (KUHF) is a public radio station located in Houston, Texas. It is owned and operated by the University of Houston System. The station broadcasts a classical music format, as well as news and information programming from National Public Radio (NPR). KUHF is the only classical music station in the Houston area. It features a wide variety of classical music, from Baroque to contemporary, as well as jazz, opera, and world music. The station also broadcasts live performances from local and national artists. KUHF also provides news and information programming from NPR, including Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Fresh Air. In addition, the station offers a variety of locally produced programs, including Houston Matters, Houston Matters Weekend Edition, and The Front Row. KUHF is committed to providing quality programming to the Houston community and beyond.
