CFUV 101.9 is the University of Victoria's campus and community radio station. Located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, CFUV is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization that has been broadcasting since 1979. CFUV is dedicated to providing a platform for diverse voices and music that is not heard on mainstream radio. We strive to create a safe and inclusive space for our community to express themselves and to share their stories.
CFUV broadcasts a variety of programming, including music, spoken word, and news. Our music programming includes a wide range of genres, from indie rock to hip-hop, folk to electronic, and everything in between. We also feature a variety of spoken word programming, including interviews, talk shows, and public affairs programming. Our news programming includes local, national, and international news, as well as coverage of local events and issues.
