Sinkiang Uyghur Communications Radio

Sinkiang Uyghur Communications Radio is a radio station based in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China. It is the only radio station in the region that broadcasts in the Uyghur language. The station was established in 1997 and broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is owned and operated by the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Radio and Television Bureau.
