KBRW 91.9 FM is a public radio station located in Barrow, Alaska. It is owned and operated by the North Slope Borough. The station broadcasts an eclectic mix of music, news, and public affairs programming. It is the only radio station in the United States that broadcasts in the Inupiaq language. KBRW also broadcasts NPR news and public affairs programming. The station is a member of the Alaska Public Radio Network and the National Federation of Community Broadcasters. KBRW is dedicated to providing quality programming to the people of Barrow and the surrounding North Slope region. The station is committed to preserving and promoting the culture and language of the Inupiaq people.
