RMF 80s + FAKTY: The Ultimate 80s Experience with a Current Twist

For fans of the 1980s who also want to stay informed about today's news, RMF 80s + FAKTY offers a unique blend of retro music and contemporary journalism. Launched by RMF FM in April 2020, this Polish radio station combines the best of both worlds—celebrating the music of the 1980s while keeping listeners updated with the latest news and current affairs.

Broadcasting from Warsaw, RMF 80s + FAKTY immerses its audience in a nostalgic journey through the 80s, delivering a curated selection of the decade's greatest hits and lesser-known tracks. The station's playlist features a rich array of 80s genres, from pop and rock to new wave and disco, ensuring a comprehensive soundtrack to this vibrant era. Listeners can enjoy timeless classics that have endured the test of time, as well as rediscover hidden gems that defined the decade's musical landscape.

What sets RMF 80s + FAKTY apart is its dual focus. In addition to its extensive 80s music library, the station also broadcasts news and current affairs programming. This approach caters particularly to listeners aged 40 and over who have a fondness for the music of their youth but also value staying informed about contemporary issues. By integrating news updates and current affairs into its programming, RMF 80s + FAKTY provides a well-rounded listening experience that appeals to both nostalgic and news-savvy audiences.

The station is part of the larger RMF FM network, which includes other popular channels such as RMF Classic, RMF Maxxx, RMF FM, RMF MAXXX, and RMF Dance. RMF 80s + FAKTY is accessible via FM, DAB+, and online platforms, making it easy for listeners to tune in whether at home or on the go.

With its engaging mix of 80s music and current affairs, RMF 80s + FAKTY stands out as a distinctive offering in Polish radio, bridging the gap between musical nostalgia and modern news.
